For visiting UHNW guests, five-star hotel guests & international families — since 2005
A dedicated multi-day personal driver for visitors to Brussels — the same English-speaking chauffeur waiting at your five-star hotel every morning, collecting you from BRU or the private jet terminal, and driving you onward to Bruges, Amsterdam, Paris or Luxembourg. Quietly retained since 2005 by visiting UHNW guests from London, New York, the Gulf, Geneva and Zurich, by family offices, embassies, and a small, long-standing list of Brussels households.
5× Chauffeur Company of the Year
For international visitors staying in Brussels, a private chauffeur is not a car ordered from an app. It is a quiet professional waiting at your hotel the morning after you arrive, already briefed on your schedule, already introduced to the concierge, already carrying a bottle of your preferred water in a Mercedes kept for you alone. The same English-speaking driver, the same car, every morning of your stay — for dinners, meetings, private viewings, airport returns, and the day trip to Bruges you didn’t plan until breakfast.
Belvedere Limousines has served visiting UHNW guests, international families and diplomatic travellers to Brussels since 2005. Most of our private clients are not Belgian. They arrive from London, New York, the Gulf, Geneva, Zurich and Singapore for a few days, a week, or the run-up to a wedding, a board meeting or a medical appointment — and need a personal driver who already speaks their language, already knows their hotel, and stays with them until the return flight. We are booked directly by guests and, more often, by their private secretary, family office, or the head concierge at Hotel Amigo, Steigenberger Wiltcher’s, Sofitel Le Louise, Stanhope, Rocco Forte, NH Collection Grand Sablon, Warwick or The Hotel Brussels. A small separate list of Brussels UHNW households is retained long-term alongside — but the Private Chauffeur service you are reading about is built first for visitors.

“We fly into Brussels four or five times a year. Our driver is waiting at the Wiltcher’s before we’re out of the shower, knows exactly where we’re going for lunch in Bruges, and has my wife’s preferred water in the armrest. We don’t speak French. We’ve never had to.”
A private chauffeur in Brussels is not a version of a taxi, a ride-share, or a corporate account. For visiting UHNW guests and international families it is an entirely different category of service — one defined by continuity, confidentiality, and the quiet assumption that the person behind the wheel already knows you, already speaks your language, and already knows which entrance of the hotel you prefer at night. Every Belvedere private driver is vetted, NDA-bound, fluent in English, and trained first and foremost around the needs of visitors who do not speak French or Dutch.
Most visits to Brussels run three to seven days. Our private chauffeurs quietly take charge of the ground half of those days — so your only decision is which city, which restaurant, and what time you’d like to be home.
Collection at Brussels Airport (BRU) arrivals or at the ExecuJet / Aviapartner private jet terminal; luggage to the Wiltcher’s, Amigo, Sofitel Le Louise, Stanhope or Rocco Forte; briefing with the concierge on your schedule.
The Grand Place, the Royal Palace, Sablon antique dealers, the Atomium — or the EU Quarter and NATO if the visit is part business. Driver parked where you need him, not circling the block.
Avenue Louise boutiques, Galerie du Roi jewellers, family tailors, Sablon galleries, Wittamer, Pierre Marcolini — car held at the kerb with your purchases in the boot.
La Villa in the Sky, Comme Chez Soi, the Bozar, the Monnaie, embassy receptions, Champagne at the Steigenberger bar — driven home at whatever hour. No valet, no rain, no parking.
Bruges (1h), Ghent (45 min), Antwerp (45 min), Waterloo (30 min), Champagne (2h30), Luxembourg (2h15), Amsterdam (2h) or Paris (3h15). Door to door, back at your hotel before dinner.
Grandparents flown in to meet newborns, children escorted safely between museums and the hotel, multi-generation V-Class travel — the same trusted driver for everyone.
Same driver, same Mercedes, back to BRU or the private jet terminal. No last-minute taxi. No unfamiliar face on the morning you leave.
Restaurant bookings, event tickets, embassy introductions, errands handled between journeys by our team and yours — quietly, in English, throughout your stay.
Separately from our visiting-guest work, we retain a small, long-standing list of UHNW families living in Ixelles, Uccle and Woluwe-Saint-Pierre on a multi-year basis — school runs, dinners, medical appointments, weekend trips to Knokke or the Ardennes, and hosting their own visiting relatives. The service is the same shape as for our international guests, only stretched across years. If this is you, we’d rather speak quietly than through a web form.
Enquire about household retention →For international guests staying at a Brussels five-star hotel or private residence, we assign a chauffeur who is simply yours for the length of your stay — the same English-speaking driver every morning, parked under the porte-cochère, briefed by your concierge, ready before you finish breakfast. No ride-hailing, no language barrier, no unfamiliar face each time the doors open. Minimum two days; most international clients retain their chauffeur for three to seven days or the full length of the trip.
… and most other Brussels five-star properties and private residences
Visiting guests choose their car the way they choose a hotel suite — by how it feels. We match you to the right Mercedes on arrival and keep that same car, or an identical one, assigned to your English-speaking driver for every journey of your stay. The cabin, the scent, the seat position, the bottled water, the phone charger: all of it becomes yours for the length of the trip and waiting for you again the next time you return to Brussels.
A fifteen-minute conversation in English with you, your private secretary, family office, or hotel concierge. We listen to your arrival details, the rhythm of your stay, the people travelling with you, and what discretion means to you.
We assign an English-speaking chauffeur whose temperament, additional languages (French, Dutch, Italian, German, Spanish, Arabic on request) and manner fit yours. He is briefed on your hotel, your arrival flight, your dates, the people travelling with you and the shape of your stay — before the first journey.
Your driver signs a confidentiality agreement covering your hotel, your travelling companions, your schedule and your preferences. A short written brief captures car seats, dietary notes, music, preferred routes and the names of the people allowed in the vehicle.
Your chauffeur collects you at BRU arrivals, at the ExecuJet or Aviapartner private jet terminal, or simply waits at the hotel porte-cochère the first morning. From there the Mercedes is yours for the stay — billed quietly in EUR, GBP or USD.
Most international guests return to Brussels two, three, four times a year — and always ask for the same driver, the same Mercedes, the same hotel arrival ritual. Your chauffeur becomes part of the quiet infrastructure of your time in the city: known to your concierge, your doormen, and the restaurants you return to.
We return to Brussels twice a year and always request the same driver. He collects us from BRU, waits at the Wiltcher’s, drives us to Bruges or Antwerp for the day, and brings us to dinner in the evening. After three visits we stopped treating him as a service and started treating him as a friend we look forward to seeing.
Our principals fly into BRU four or five times a year. Belvedere posts the same English-speaking chauffeur at the hotel for the whole stay — meetings in the EU Quarter, dinners, a day in Bruges, a run to Paris if needed. We deal with one number in Brussels. Everything else quietly works.
Our family stays at the Steigenberger Wiltcher’s for a week each summer and again in December. Belvedere posts one English-speaking chauffeur at the hotel for the whole stay — airport collection, Avenue Louise shopping with my wife, a day trip to Bruges with the children, embassy dinners in the evening. We settle everything in USD at the end. It is the simplest arrangement we have in any European city.
